Best Beaches in the World

Some people choose to vacation on the best beaches in the world for their idyllic sand and clear waters, while others like to enjoy a party scene or photogenic scene. The list below highlights some of the best beaches in the world, according to the popularity and recognition that each one has received. You can also see which beaches have received prestigious awards and recognition from travel websites and publications. We hope that this list will help you decide where to spend your next vacation!

San Fruttuoso

Whether you’re looking for a relaxing day on the beach or a cultural experience, you’ll find it in San Fruttuoso. This small town is home to several beaches, and its cliffs are lined with quaint buildings. The beach here is very picturesque and features a statue of the late Italian underwater swimmer Dario Gonzatti. Guido Marcante, who is also the father of Italian underwater swimming, had it placed there as a memorial for the late swimmer. The statue was created using propellers from American submarines and medals from the aforementioned underwater swimming champion. The statue has since been replaced and is currently on display in the church of San Fruttuoso.

The picturesque San Fruttuoso bay is located 35 kilometers east of Genoa. It’s accessible by boat or a challenging two-hour hike from the nearby Portofino. The bay is framed by the Romanesque abbey, which contains the ruins of a saint who was martyred in the year AD259. The pristine water is surrounded by lush vegetation, and visitors enjoy the lack of crowds.

El Nido

When you come to El Nido, you will want to take advantage of the various island hopping tours that you can avail of. Although there are different packages, they all follow the same schedule. Tour A departs at 9 am and heads to the Big Lagoon and the Small Lagoon. You can expect 20 people on board each boat as you travel through the lagoons. There are also different activities that you can partake in while on your tour.

There are several ways to experience El Nido’s pristine beachfronts. The town itself has its own tourist infrastructure and is surrounded by tiny islands. The Bacuit Archipelago consists of a group of islands that are spread around the bay of the same name. The area is full of surprises for visitors, including hidden lagoons and palm-fringed islands.

Cannon Beach

This nine-mile-long beach is popular for its wildlife and birds. During low tide, you can even walk to the base of the sea stack. Visitors to Cannon Beach can enjoy hiking or camping, a kite-flying competition, or just relaxing on the beach. The clear sky and unpolluted winds make photography very enjoyable here. Whether you want to watch some wildlife or take some stunning photos of the landscape, Cannon Beach is the perfect spot for you.

Cannon Beach is home to several art festivals every year. The Earth and Ocean Festival celebrates works that showcase the natural beauty of the Oregon coast. The Stormy Weather Arts Festival offers gallery walks and live music. You can also catch a play in Cannon Beach’s own playhouse. The Coaster Theatre Playhouse puts on Shakespeare adaptations in a nearby park in the summer, and in the holiday season, it presents the classic “A Christmas Carol.”

Praia Banana

If you’re looking for a tropical island getaway, you’ve probably heard about Praia Banana on the island of Principe. This small, uncrowded beach is located just 150 miles west of mainland Africa, and the crystalline waters and white sand are perfect for a warm bath. Praia Banana is so secluded, it was featured in a world-famous Bacardi ad in the 1990s. The small, but perfect bay is always uncrowded, and the water is always warm and crystal clear.

The beach is also perfect for snorkelers and kayakers. It’s lined with swaying coconut trees and is 3 km long. Those who don’t know how to surf are welcome to take a lesson at the long-running surf school Captain Dave’s. While you’re there, make sure to leave your worries behind. You’ll be glad you did.

Anse Source d’Argent

If you’re looking for a truly pristine beach, look no further than Anse Source d’Argent. The white sand of this beach is protected by a coral reef, and visitors are welcome to enjoy the views and activities at this plantation. If you’re traveling with children, you’ll have plenty of options for activities such as kayaking or snorkeling. You’ll also find that the island is popular for family vacations.

The Seychelles are an archipelago of 115 islands, about 1500 KMs off the east coast of Africa. The islands have world-class beaches, spectacular coral reefs, and pristine nature reserves. La Digue is the fourth largest and third most populated island, located fifty kilometers north of the main island Mahe. French colonists first settled La Digue in 1789, and today, the island boasts some of the world’s most beautiful beaches. One of those beaches is Anse Source d’Argent, where you can swim in the turquoise water and watch the rays swoop in.

US Parks: Top 5 Must-See Spots

What could be better than outdoor recreation and clean fresh air? Whether you love hiking or nature, you must see these five US parks. My buddy who owns Done Just Right, Inc and travels every year for vacation gave me these Top 5 places that you must add to your bucket list and visit. There is nothing better than getting away from work and taking a nice vacation to relax.

Great Smoky Mountains

The iconic Great Smoky Mountains stretch across two states, NC and TN. No matter where you enter, though, you’ll see tons of natural beauty.

Visitors see black bears, deer, fireflies, and other species. Plus, there are plenty of ways to explore them all year.

Zion

Utah’s first national park is also a rugged yet stunning one. Zion is home to sandstone cliffs that mimic the colors of the sunset.

There are also emerald pools and the Virgin River to discover. Catch the shuttle to head back or camp outdoors.

Rocky Mountain

Rocky Mountain offers acres of adventure all year. This Colorado favorite is home to rams, bison, and mountain lions.

In the warmer months, check out the waterfalls, lakes, and streams. In winter, capture some stunning photos against fresh snow.

Glacier

Because it’s part of the Continental Divide, Glacier stays rugged. These harsh conditions make for challenging hikes, as well as hearty wildlife.

Here, rangers lead groups on guided hikes, or campers can travel alone. There are also five different trails to explore.

Acadia

Acadia is among the most popular destinations for the North Atlantic Coast. With millions of annual visitors, it’s a shoo-in for first-timer travelers.

There are many overnight camping spots and day activities. Some sections even allow you to bring your pet along, too.

The Best Gas Stations in the US for Road Trips

Make room, Texas: Alabama welcomes 'novelty destination' that is Buc-ee's - al.com

In addition to clean bathrooms, what else does a gas station need? If it doesn’t become part of the trip, it isn’t worth a stop.

Here are four of our favorite places to pull over on our vacations. Which ones are your favorite brands to visit?

Buc-ee’s

If you’re a fan of Buc-ee’s, you’re probably a Texan. While you can find these stores in many southern states, Texas is where they began.

These convenience stores feel more like a budget department store with as many offerings. It’s no wonder why people come here for weekly shopping as well.

Wawa

Although they have seen rapid expansion in the south, Wawa started in PA. They made a name for themselves with made-to-order sandwiches, meals, and coffees.

The insides of these stores offer an impressive range of grocery items, too. Wherever you are visiting next, “you gotta have a Wawa.”

Sheetz

While Sheetz shares the state with Wawa, it does have other features. In addition to food and beverages, Sheetz acts as an all-in-one truck stop.

One-part family restaurant and one-part supermarket, it’s tough to find a better convenience store. Many of them are also open 24-hours daily too.

Hy-Vee

Unlike the other brands, Hy-Vee is a true supermarket. Because it’s employee-owned, it’s also a great value.

You can find many different products and meals, all at affordable pricing. Since they have a fuel program, you can save a ton on gasoline, too.

Factors To Consider When Choosing Jobs To Do On Your Vacation

You probably have heard about digital nomads. Or maybe you are one of them. Digital nomads are basically people who love traveling and doing work from different parts of the world.

Luckily, you can also be one. When you travel, you can choose among available opportunities and work while you enjoy your time. Thanks to the available opportunities, you will basically find almost every kind of opportunity that you can take advantage of today.

However, the truth is, not every job you will come across will be suitable for your travel. You need to evaluate the kind of jobs you find and choose that will suit your needs. And most importantly, you need to get jobs that can give you a balance between working and enjoying your trip. This is because you don’t have the luxury to leave any job you start and jump into other activities.

However, to manage this, you need to consider basic factors. This is why this article will share factors to consider when choosing jobs to do on your vacation.

Let’s get started.

  • Your Expertise and Experience

This is the most critical factor you should consider. You already know your background and the kind of jobs that you can manage to do. So, before you decide to do anything, consider this. Choose to work on projects that you can deliver.

It’s even better to settle on projects that you have experience in doing. This makes it easy for you to balance your time between doing the work and working.

Don’t fall into the temptation of thinking a task is easy, and you can do it if you have never tried it before. You shouldn’t just take any task because everybody else is doing it or claims it’s easy.

  • Job Demands Vs. Your Availability

Some jobs are extremely demanding. When you get them, it becomes important to choose jobs that you are available to meet their demands. These factors will also be determined by the time you have at your disposal to work.

If you have plenty of time, then you can choose jobs that are demanding. But the most important thing is to find jobs that give you work and vacation balance.

Your job shouldn’t inconvenience your travel with a very demanding job.

  • Payment

Let’s face it. The number one reason you will take any job to work on your vacation it’s because you would wish to get money. That’s why it’s critical to consider its payment. First, start by thinking about the amount of money the job is paying you. The second thing would be to think about the mode and duration of payment.

At all times, ensure you pick jobs that offer better and favorable payment terms.

Parting Shot

Traveling and working is an exciting experience. But to get the best, you must always consider critical factors that would give you a better experience for your travel.
